Chicago has become a destination for beer lovers, offering a variety of brewpubs and taprooms that cater to all tastes. From chill neighborhood spots to Michelin-starred breweries, the Windy City has it all.

Crushed by Giants

Crushed by Giants is a chill brewpub with an industrial vibe offering craft beer, sandwiches & pizza, plus bar bites. Located in the heart of the Streeterville neighborhood, they’re famous for their IPAs

Go Brewing

Naperville’s Go Brewing has proved that the enjoyment of craft beer is not measured by alcohol content. The 10 brews available at its taproom, which features live music on the weekends, include IPAs, stouts and witbiers, and are all less than 2% ABV.

Half Acre Beer Co

A founding father of the city’s modern beer culture, Half Acre has been attracting Chicagoans since 2008. The industrial atmosphere in its new taproom on Lincoln Square’s Malt Row helps create a lively energy that is not to be missed.

Hopleaf

For more than 30 years, Hopleaf has brought the beer culture of Belgium to Andersonville. Hopleaf rotates the selections in its 68 taps several times a week, which includes brews created by Art History Brewing. The establishment has more than 400 bottled beers, so find your perfect match here!

Marz Community Brewing Company

Complete with classic video games, the funky vibe of Marz Community’s McKinley Park brewery reflects the beers that they offer. Marz is celebrated for amplifying its brews with unique notes like cocoa nibs and dil, with names that show off its South Side pride.

Moody Tongue

At the world’s first brewery with two Michelin stars, the goal is to create thoughtful, exciting beers that blend familiar flavors with quality ingredients through a philosophy of culinary brewing: using a chef’s mindset to highlight flavors and aromatics in balanced beers.

Monk’s Pub

Monk’s Pub has been in business since 1969 and moved into its current location- the shadow of the “L” in the Loop -nine years later. It features more than 120 beers in bottles and cans and another 16 on draft, with a decor that evokes an Old World, European tavern.

Off Color Brewing Taproom: The Mousetrap

Off Color Brewing is known for its innovative takes on sour and fruity beers. The glowing ambience of the Lincoln Park taproom is a necessary stop for the adventurous beer lover.
