Thanks to the Greater Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce and the historic Ravenswood Industrial Corridor, Ravenswood ArtWalk returns to Chicago for the 22nd year. Saturday, September 14 and Sunday, September 15, head over to Ravenswood Avenue and enjoy a weekend of art, music, food and community. This festival is the perfect way to say goodbye to summer!
Join over 10,000 attendees and experience open studios and galleries, performances, Outdoor Arts Market, Children’s Corner and a beer garden. With over 25 participating locations and hundreds of local artists, there are endless opportunities to explore the Chicago art scene and discover your next great find. Event Highlights
Outdoor Arts Market & Beer Garden
The Outdoor Arts Market at the event’s center will feature over 60 artisans, live music and food trucks. Indulge in delicious beer from Begyle Brewing, or visit the non-alcoholic beverage tent benefitting the Friendship Center Food Pantry. Crafts and family-friendly activities will also be spread throughout the festival, so you’re more than welcome to bring the kids!
Indoor Arts Market
Ravenswood ArtWalk features two indoor markets: one at Platform Coworking (4422 N Ravenswood) and one at Live Bash (1801 W Berteau). Travel along Ravenswood Avenue, enjoying historic architecture while meeting even more local artists and artisans.
Big Teeth Productions’ 60 Second Film Festival
Big Teeth is proud to bring back the “Big Teeth Small Shorts” 60-Second Film Festival for its eighth screening at the Ravenswood ArtWalk. Experience a variety of new short films created specifically for this event, including a fun mix of live action and animation.
Lillstreet Art Center Open House
Join Lillstreet for hands-on demos in handbuilding, printmaking, and textiles, all led by amazing instructors. This event is perfect for all ages, so bring the whole family to explore open artist studios and learn a new hobby.
Bitspace Exquisite Art Fort
Kids can join Bitspace on Ravenswood and Berteau for a collaborative hands-on building project during the weekend. Give your child the opportunity to contribute to an exquisite fort!
