St. Patricks Day in Chicago is such a big deal that we not only have one St. Patricks Day Parade, but three! We weren’t rated the No. 1 city to celebrate this holiday for nothing!

The first parade of the weekend will be the Chicago St. Patricks Day Parade happening on March 16th at noon. The route will go down Columbus Drive and finish at Grant Park around Buckingham Fountain . This parade will feature some staples from bag pipes to Irish dancers, marching bands, clowns and more.

Want to go to a parade on the real St. Patricks Day? No worries. The NorthWest Side Irish Parade will be happening the very next day on March 17th. The parade takes place in Norwood Park with a pre-parade party starting at 10 a.m. The route will begin at William J. Onahan School and head South down Neola Avenue.

If you can’t make it to the NorthWest Side for the parade, you still have another chance to catch the South Side Irish Parade happening on the same day at noon. This route will start on Western Avenue and finish at 115th street. The South Side parade will also feature a wide array of bagpipes, floats and marching bands and is the perfect way to end your holiday weekend.
