Join in on the fun and fright at Navy Pier as they celebrate Halloween with a wicked week of special events, including a feature film, Pier-wide trick-or-treating, a costume contest, Haunted Maze, Halloween themed boat cruises and parties, a spooktacular fireworks show, and more.

Gather the troops and head to the Pier and enjoy a special screening of The Addams Family at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29 (Rated PG-13). Guests are welcome to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy the free, family-friendly movie event.

At Navy Pier, it’s never too early to start trick-or-treating! Swing by on Sunday, Oct. 30 between noon to 4 p.m. or on Halloween from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. and hit all of our designated trick-or-treat stops throughout the Pier to collect candy and a stamp on your passport, which can be picked up at Navy Pier’s Guest Services Desk at the main entrance. Once completed, the passport can be redeemed at the Guest Services Desk for a special prize.

Starting Friday, Oct. 28, the Amazing Chicago’s Funhouse Maze will transform into a Haunted Maze – featuring 4,800 square feet of pure terror, with surprises at every twist and turn. The Haunted Maze will be operational from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Oct. 28 and 29, and from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Oct. 30 and 31.

Think you’ve got a winning costume this year? Enter Navy Pier’s annual Costume Contest, held in the Family Pavilion on Saturday, Oct. 29. Registration begins at 4 p.m. and the contest is set for 5 p.m.  Be sure to stick around to catch the spooktacular fireworks show presented by Miller Lite at 9 p.m.

Those 21 and over can wreak havoc into the witching hours of the night at one of the several celebrations on the Pier, including the 2nd Annual Haunted Halloween Ball in the Aon Grand Ballroom and Nightmare on the Pier on the Lakeview Terrace. Both events run from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Oct. 29 and offer cash bars, music selection from Chicago’s top DJs, and unparalleled views of the lake and skyline. Tickets begin at $15 and can be purchased online.

Rather take your chances out on the deep, dark waters of Lake Michigan? Board the Spirit of Chicago – if you dare – for one of the following cruises: The Haunted Halloween Party Cruise on Oct. 29 (5:30 p.m. boarding, with a 6 p.m. departure and 8 p.m. return); The Haunted Ghost Ship on Oct. 29 (11:15 p.m. boarding, with a midnight departure and 2 a.m. return); and Shipwrecked Halloween Party Cruise on Oct. 31 (5:30 p.m. boarding, with a 6 p.m. departure and 8 p.m. return).
