Cody’s Public House

This retro bar in West Lakview is the spot for you, your friends and your dog. Cody’s Public House is opening early for the first round games to host March Madness watch parties on its 16 65-inch TVs and an outdoor patio. Different game day specials will be available throughout the tournament, including Happy Hour deals and competitions for a chance to win prizes like a YETI cooler or Sam Adams merchandise. 

Jake Melnick’s Corner Tap 

Named the top chicken wing spot in the U.S. by the Today Show, Jake Melnick’s Corner Tap in River North welcomes you to try some for yourself during March Madness. For the occasion, guests may share from the Madness Tower, a three-tiered platter with four burgers or pulled pork sandwiches, four orders of wings, four Garage Beers and in case there’s room for more, a large side of fries. Get your friends and double- or triple-team, this feast. If you dare, try the XXXX Wing Eating Contest, where you have to finish eight wings made with a sauce consisting of habanero, ghost pepper, scorpion and Carolina reaper chilis in order to win a t-shirt.

The Graystone Tavern

Known as a destination for Cubs game days, Wrigleyville staple Graystone Tavern is opening its doors to basketball fans for every round of the NCAA Tournament. Every seat is the best seat in the house with its nine TVs and more on the heated patio. Specials are available from March 20 – April 7, which includes $25 beer buckets, $4 pizza puffs and various discounted drafts.
