The largest seafood festival in the Midwest, the third annual Great American Lobster Fest, returns to Navy Pier this Friday and Saturday (Sept. 2-3). The festivities conclude with Navy Pier’s final fireworks show of the season on Saturday night.
From noon to 5 p.m. on Friday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, guests can enjoy live lobster feasting—flow in fresh from the East Coast—in addition to live music, a whole slew of activities for families to enjoy, unique shopping opportunities, and so much more.
There are multiple ticket options, including an advance lobster meal option (which is strongly suggested as day-of whole lobster boils will be limited and sold at market price) in addition to the new Lobster Brunch Cruise. The main festival grounds, located outside at the end of Navy Pier, are open to the public and free of charge. If you would like to enter the Aon Grand Ballroom, you will need to purchase a ticket. Children ages six and under receive free entry to the ground floor of the Aon Grand Ballroom.
