Even though the Fourth of July looks a little different this year, Navy Pier is still excited to celebrate! Navy Pier is open from 10 a.m. to midnight on the fourth. With live music and plenty of dining options, here’s what you can do to celebrate the Fourth of July at Navy Pier this year! Free live music
There will be multiple live performances July 3rd through the 5th at the Miller Lite Beer Garden and Wave Wall Platform. The concerts are free and perfect for all ages! Can’t make it this weekend? Dine at restaurants with outdoor seating
Take in the lakefront breeze and beautiful views Navy PIer has to offer while dining at one of its many restaurants that has outdoor seating, including: Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., Harry Caray’s Tavern, Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville, Offshore, Riva Crabhouse and Tiny Tavern. Stop by some of Navy Pier’s other famous restaurants
If you’re on the go and want to grab a quick bite, stop by one of Navy Pier’s other popular restaurants like America’s Dog & Burger, Billy Goat Tavern or Completely Nuts.
Walk the pier and enjoy its parks
Many of Navy Pier’s parks and public spaces will be open on the Fourth! Walk down the pier and head up to the Crystal Gardens for a relaxing sightseeing experience.
Shop at the Fifth Third Bank Family Pavilion
If you’re one to shop til you drop, the retail stores in Navy Pier’s Fifth Third Bank Family Pavilion will be open. Pick up Chicago souvenirs or some famous Garret’s popcorn for a true Chicago experience.
Hop on a boat tour or cruise
One of the best ways to experience Navy Pier and Chicago during the summer is by hopping on one of its many boat tours or cruises. If you’re looking for a laid back cruise, look into Odyssey Cruises, Shoreline Sightseeing or Spirit of Chicago. For a more thrilling experience out on the water check out Seadog or Tall Ship Windy.
