What better way to kick off Health & Wellness Month than at a Chicago Sky game? With the assistance of University of Chicago Medicine, the Sky will be hosting a Health and Wellness Night during their game against Minnesota. Each quarter will highlight a different health topic, including women’s wellness highlights. Players will be using Sky branded resistance bands during pregame warmups and valuable health resources and information will be shared amongst the audience!
August 20th: WOMEN’S CANCER AWARENESS NIGHT — Presented by University of Chicago Medicine
Join the Chicago Sky in the fight against women’s cancer! On Sunday, August 20th, they will be hosting a Women’s Cancer Awareness Night during their game against Connecticut. The goal is to raise awareness and provide local resources for early detection, so don’t miss out on this important event. As part of the theme night, they will also be giving away a specially designed headband to fans who show their support for this cause.
August 22nd: MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS NIGHT — Presented by Mesirow
In partnership with the creative agency OKRP and Alkeme Health, the Chicago Sky team will be hosting a Mental Health Awareness Night. This event, held during their game against Seattle, will be an effort to provide knowledge and inform fans about mental health resources and support. An original Sky affirmation band and other mental health resources will be shared among those in attendance. Join the team in supporting mental health awareness and advocating for positive change in the Chicago community.
August 24th: HBCU NIGHT — Presented by 23andMe
Chicago Sky fans, mark your calendars for a truly special event! The game against Las Vegas will be dedicated to celebrating the rich history and educational excellence of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). These institutions were originally established as centers of higher learning for African Americans, and the team is proud to recognize their important contributions. As tokens of their appreciation, Sky branded HBCU bags will be given away to all fans in attendance. These bags have been expertly created by SOUNDOFF® Design, everyone is in for a treat.
