Chicago Gourmet 2024 is putting a whole new spin on haute cuisine by merging the worlds of food and fashion. On Sept. 21-29, enjoy top chefs, premium drinks and a vibrant atmosphere at several events filled with deliciousness and style. Each day is packed with exciting food and drink presentations that will excite your taste buds.
Tacos & Tequila
Get your sip on at Tacos & Tequila. Co-hosted by chefs Rick Bayless and Marcos Carbajal, this gathering on Sept. 26 is presented by US Foods and the Tourism Board of Guadalajara, Mexico. Feast on tacos from top local chefs, sip on premium agave spirits and watch traditional Mexican musical and dance performances.
Somm Sessions
The fun continues on Sept. 27 with Somm Sessions, presented by Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, where top sommeliers pair fine wines with songs to add a playful twist to wine tasting. Later that evening, gear up for the highly anticipated Hamburger Hop co-hosted by chefs Joe Flamm and Adrienne Cheatham. Enjoy chef-styled burgers, cold brews, wine, spirits and DJ beats while taking in the view of the skyline.
End the night at the Late Night Gourmet after-party at TAO for an evening filled with cocktails, music and good energy.
Grand Cru
Saturday, Sept. 28, is all about sophistication with the Grand Cru, hosted by chef Paul Kahan. Inspired by the elegance of a fashion sketchbook, the Grand Cru showcases world-class cuisine paired with the finest wines and spirits. Choose between the afternoon “Party in Black” or the evening “White Party,” and savor five-star culinary creations under the city lights.
Rise & Shine Gourmet
Close out the weekend with Rise & Shine Gourmet, a brunch co-hosted by chefs Art Smith, Lorena Garcia & Jernard Wells. The sunny rooftop brunch promises a mix of sweet and savory dishes, refreshing cocktails and lively beats—making it the perfect way to wrap up the week.
