In celebration of what would have been Elvis Presley’s 90th birthday on Jan. 8, Bally’s Chicago has festivities planned throughout the weekend. Inspired by Elvis’ favorite snack, Kitchen 888 on Level 3 is offering the “Memphis Croissant,” a peanut butter, banana and bacon sandwich on a croissant for $10 ($9 for Bally Rewards cardholders) and the “Bally’s Blue Suede Stack,” with the same three ingredients on a smashburger for $13 ($12 for Bally Rewards cardholders).
Similarly, the Center Bar on Level 1 and Square Bar on Level 3 have the “I’m All Shook Up,” a peanut-butter-and-banana martini for $10. All three are available through Sunday, Jan. 12.
In addition, the festivities continue on Jan. 9, where an Elvis-themed playlist will be heard throughout the casino floor. The next day will feature DJ Dreaa spinning from 7 p.m. – midnight, with an Elvis lookalike contest starting at 9 p.m. Full details on the contest and more are available at Bally’s website.
The only casino inside Chicago’s city limits, Bally’s is located in River North at the historic Medinah Temple. Inside, you’ll find a 34,000-square-foot casino with nearly 800 slot machines, 56 table games, three restaurants and two bars. Sign up for the Bally Rewards program for personalized offers, special events and Bally Bucks based on your play.
And don’t forget what Presley sang in one of his most famous hits:
“There’s blackjack, and poker, and the roulette wheel
A fortune won and lost on every deal
All you need’s a strong heart and a nerve of steel” – Elvis Presley, “Viva Las Vegas”
