Now in its 9th year, Arts in the Dark is a magical evening parade celebrating Halloween as the “artist’s holiday” and drawing together world-renowned institutions, celebrated Chicago cultural organizations, important youth programs, and aspiring artists in every field.  It is a dazzling production that delights an audience of 50,000 with unique floats, spectacle puppets and creative performances – all set against the backdrop of historic State Street.

The parade has been recognized as one of the top 6 Halloween events in the world – so don’t miss your chance to experience the magic this fall!  You will be dazzled by music, dance, spectacle puppets, creative floats and more!

Event Details

Arts in the Dark takes place on Saturday, October 21st from 6-8pm on State Street moving south from Lake to Van Buren.  Arts in the Dark is sponsored by Barry Callebaut & HARIBO, with Major Support from the Chicago Loop Alliance. More information can be found on the Arts in the Dark website.
