It’s a Chicago Blues Bar Icon
Founded in 1968, Kingston Mines is the largest and oldest continuously operating Chicago blues bar. Its two stages have been graced by the likes of Magic Slim, Koko Taylor, Junior Wells, Larry McCray, Joanna Connor and Sugar Blue, and scores of other musical greats.
They’re Celebrating 50 Years
What keeps the Kingston Mines alive today, is the same thing that allowed for its birth… passion! Always a welcoming environment, come on down, get comfortable, enjoy some delicious Southern-style fare from Doc’s Rib Joint, and feel right at home.
The Music, Of Course
Kingston Mines is home to two stages, so you get to see two live bands in one night. Only here can you witness nellie “Tiger” Travis leave her heart on the stage with her powerhouse vocals and then have your face melted by Joanna Connor’s guitar shredding in the next room all in one night.
