The Chicago History Museum's Lincoln Park Block by Block exhibit will trace the historic neighborhood from its humble beginnings to the urban powerhouse it is today. The exhibition will touch on the evolution of Lincoln Park and the events that have touched it, such as The Great Chicago Fire and the riots of the late 1960s.
The exhibition is interactive and is set on top of a map of Lincoln Park. There are opportunities for visitors to share their own memories of Lincoln Park and interact with some of Chicago's most beloved artifacts.
The exhibit is not just a celebration of one of Chicago's most dynamic neighborhoods but will also pay memorial to the Lincoln Bicentennial and the president for whom the neighborhood was named.
The museum is holding a 4th of July celebration from 10am-12pm and afterwards the exhibition will be open to the public.
