Lookingglass Theatre - Specializing in Theatre
Michigan Avenue's castle-like Water Tower, one of few buildings to survive the Great Chicago Fire, is home to the Lookingglass Theatre. Lookgglass's intelligent, progressive works often display an intense physical, even acrobatic, element and are regarded as some of the finest theatrical offerings in the city.
The theater seats 220, with additonal studio space for rehersals, special events, and more intimate performaces. Lookingglass alums include Joey Slotnick ("Boston Public"), David Schwimmer ("Friends"), and Tony award-winning director Mary Zimmerman.
